The Northwest Association for Biomedical Research (NWABR) and the IRB conference planning committee welcome you to the 2008 Human Subjects Research Regional Conference on October 20, 2008 at the Hotel Murano in Tacoma, Washington.
Elyse Summers, JD; acting director for the Division of Education and Development at the Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) will again join us to discuss regulatory changes and updates.
Annette Rid, MD; a bioethicist from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), will discuss the assessment of risk.
Also included are beginner and advanced tracks, round table discussions and Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) training.
