Stories from the Expo

NWABR's Student bio expo has been pairing interested students with scientists acting as mentors for 11 years.

Over that time, hundreds of students have been inspired by the scientific research community, and their projects reflect that inspiration in their results.

Included in this section are just some of the expo's inspirational stories.

  • You'll find a student's perspective of the expo, written by Andrew Kennard of Garfield High School.

Peter Budisana, Redmond High School, TEACHING

  • You'll get a look at the past exhibitors of the expo, and where their paths have taken them.

  • You can view the full program and list of participants from the 2011 Expo as well as the historic 2010 10th Anniversary Student Bio Expo.

  • Finally, you can view some of the most memorable projects from those 11 years.
